Its the film that everyone is currently raving about – Les Miserables, however did you know that a some of it was filmed in Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard, Winchester Cathedral and Winchester College? I am sure its not the only reason why Hampshire residents are flocking to see the film, but I am sure part of the excitement is to spot some of our wonderful county on the big screen….
No doubt all three of these places will see an increase in visitors as a result of the film which can only be a good thing – I will certainly be taking my children for a visit to the Historic Dockyard soon!
