I cannot believe a year has passed since last Halloween – it was my first in Winchester for 25 years and I was amazed at how many wonderful things there were to do for the children during half term week. Our personal highlights were the ghoulish ghost train at the picturesque Exbury Gardens, an unforgettable experience from start to finish and because we turned up in fancy dress, we got a free goody bag! Then there was the Halloween baking and storytelling at Winchester City Mill – educational yet fun in a lovely historic setting. Not forgetting all the excitement at Marwell Zoological Park which is always a treat in itself and this half term you could get to see their latest addition, the new baby giraffe. There is so much to choose from – we are truly spoilt for choice here in Hampshire. Roll on next week!
