Having young children is a pleasure in Hampshire – there are so many fun and cheap days out right on your doorstep.  On Saturday we organised an Easter egg hunt through Alresford, which took us via Thomas and his friends at the Watercress Steam Railway and ended up at the ever popular Caracoli cofee and food shop.  On Tuesday we did the walk over Hengistbury Head to Mudeford Spit to have a picnic on the beach, nestled amongst the pretty coloured beach huts, then we took the Noddy Train back.  And today we have exhausted ourselves at Moors Valley Country Park near Ringwood, completing the play trail and the tree top walk through the forest.  Happy days!
