We have a great relationship with Pilgrims School – one of the countries most sought after school for boys, and we often help their new parents move to the area.  Set in some of Winchester’s most iconic buildings, and in the shadow of the cathedral which it is closely connected to, it is a fascinating place to visit.  One of its more famous pupils is the great Jack Dee!  They are always up to something exciting and often have open days – we had this email in today which we thought we would share:

This Friday we have a taster session in our Forest School, for boys aged
3-6. They will be exploring nature, climbing trees, learning how to use
tools safely (to chop wood etc), all under the watchful eye of our fully
accredited Forest school Leader. If the weather is like this, it will be a
great day for the parents to enjoy the sunshine, and if it rains the boys
can enjoy the puddles – win, win!

Also, on May 9th we have our amazing Roman Day! First time we have done
this, very exciting: we will be completely off timetable for the morning
and the boys will be working in their houses rather than their forms, so we
will have integration of year groups working together, and collaborations
between various departments to create a very buzzy day, all based on a Roman
theme.  It ends in a Roman themed banquet after a display of javelin combat. Whole families welcome, activities suitable for boys aged 6-11.

If you get a chance, do treat yourself and pop along!
